Trevyn Despain, PT, DPT, CCI
Trevyn attended University of Ulster in Northern Ireland where he received his Bachelors and Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 1997. Trevyn is currently attending school to finish his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Trevyn and his wife Lisa bought Brockton Physical Therapy in 2007. Since then they have continued to grow the company, creating a popular Physical Therapy clinic here in Riverside, CA. Trevyn's favorite aspect of physical therapy is working with complex cases; Whether it is multi-part injuries, delicate neck issues or cases in which it is unclear exactly what the problem is. Trevyn is always eager to get creative and find the treatments that will give his patients the results they need and have come to expect from him. When Trevyn is not working, he enjoys fly fishing, off-roading with his sons and spending time with his family.
Rachel Rios, PT, MsPT
Rachel is from Toronto, Canada but fell in love with California back in 2001 and made it her goal to move here permanently. Rachel graduated from the California State University, San Bernardino in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. In 2008, she earned her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. In 2009 and began working as a physical therapist.
Since then, Mrs. Rios has been treating patients with all types of orthopedic conditions. She's constantly improving her clinical skills through regular participation in manual therapy and continuing education courses. She is currently studying to be a yoga instructor and hopes to incorporate that into treatment for appropriate patients to help them further and transition out of therapy back to regular life and self management. She's married to her wife Scarlette and they enjoy all types of activities that life in California affords them including hiking in the local mountains, visiting the beach, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking and snowboarding. In her spare time, she likes to play guitar and piano and will often burst out into song in the clinic whether you like it or not. Rachel is also a yoga instructor who teaches yoga classes to groups and privately in the clinic and in clients homes
Angela Martinez, PT, DPT
Angela graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science and a minor in Kinesiology. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013 at the University of St. Augustine. Angela began her physical therapy career here at Brockton, where she remained until 2015. After working as a travel physical therapist for several years, Angela returned to us in 2017 with more skills and knowledge than ever before. Over the years, she has received specialty training in LSVT-BIG, Movement Links, and Mulligan Mobilization with Movement. Angela enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, but specializes with athletes, dancers, pediatrics and patients with Parkinson's disease. In her free time, she enjoys dancing hip-hop, rock climbing, hiking and camping.
Mansoor Alameri, PT, MPT, PhD, CCI
Mansoor graduated with his PhD’s in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University with specialization in spine biomechanics and rehabilitation. Since 2012, Mansoor has had the opportunity to work with various musculoskeletal conditions. Mansoor has been at BPT since 2017. He utilizes the Movement Science approach, which analyzes static and dynamic posture, whole body movement and muscle imbalance to assess improper movement patterns. He believes in a gentle approach to PT intervention with an emphasis on patient involvement at home to maximize their recovery. Mansoor is also a Credentialed Clinical Instructor through the American Physical therapy Association. In his spare time, Mansoor enjoys reading and outdoor activities.
Canda Lodge, PT, DPT
Canda attended Walla Walla University Where she received her bachelor's degree in Health Science. She then attended Loma Linda University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Canda went into neurohabilitation after school where she worked for 3 years before she gained interest in Pelvic Health. She came to BPT in 2018 and began growing our Pelvic Health program. When Canda is not at work she can be found making ‘a lot of weird hippie potions’, painting, growing her herb garden.Her hobbies include hiking, thrift shopping, spending time with her wife Riki and taking care of their fish tank.Fun fact about Canda, she grew up in Alaska, and couldn’t go to school one day because there was a moose on her front porch.
Devin Eberwein PTA, BA
Devin graduated from University Of California, Irvine in 2013 where she played NCAA Division I Water Polo, receiving her Bachelor's degree in Public Health Policy. She started out at Brockton Physical Therapy as an Aide in 2014 where she worked closely with the therapist and fell in love with Physical Therapy. Trevyn urged her to go back to school, so she went back to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Devin has been here at BPT as a PTA since november of 2017. She enjoys working with athletes, post op, neuro and geriatric patients. She really enjoys being creative with gait and balance activities. She is also just starting to train into wound care under Trevyn. When Devin is not at work she can usually be found chasing her two young boys, Brockton and Mav around and spending time with her husband Jared. As far as hobbies go she still enjoys her chances to get in the pool and play water polo or swim and travel with her family.
Gretchen DeGrote, PTA
Gretchen attended Physical Therapist Assistant school at Loma Linda where she graduated in 2017. After graduating PTA school she began working in an outpatient clinic for 3 years before she found Brockton Physical Therapy. She has been with BPT for 1 year and has become a great asset to the team. Gretchen doesn’t have any specific favorites when it comes to treating patients; she enjoys them all, she is just beginning to train into wound care under Trevyn. When Gretchen is not at work she enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, going to church. Her hobbies include hiking, yoga, visiting breweries and camping.
Jennifer Fernandez DPT, OCS
Jennifer graduated from UCLA in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiological Sciences.She then went on to Azusa Pacific University where she graduated with a Doctor in Physical Therapy in 2010. She then went on and completed an orthopedic residency program in 2011, in June 2012 she received her OCS. Jennifer is currently In the process of getting CAPTEE certified in Pelvic Health PT. Her interest is focused on pelvic pain and pains that affect pregnant and postpartum women. She has been a Physical therapist for 9 years and has been with us at Brockton PT for almost 1 year. When Jennifer is not at work she enjoys going to Dodger games, going to the movies, playing games with her kids and being a boy mom.
Cindy Sevilla, Office Manager
Cindy has been with Brockton Physical Therapy for 6 years, she has held many positions here such as Receptionist, Medical Biller and is now our Office Manager. Cindy is great at keeping the clinic in functioning order. Cindy has attended Grand Canyon University where she was pre med studying biology. She plans on applying to Medical School in the near future. When Cindy is not at work, she enjoys trips to Disneyland, going on cruises and kayaking.
